Sexxxy Show Number 69. The Radiothon edition.
Okay abit of a break from the norm, the show was definately in the oldies/rockabilly/instro mold for tonight. No doom & gloom 'cept in the pre-historic variety from the Man Link Wray himself. A lot of these songs are well known & were big sellers but were special to me. Many were my first exposure to early rock aside from the usual oldies. Jorgen Ingmann's Apache/Echo Boogie 45, Collins Kid's "Just Because", Billy Strange's "Secret Agent File" LP, & of course, "Peter Gunn", "Surfin' Bird" & "Muleskinner Blues" are all records I simply can't get tired of.
Radiothon is still going & we need your help!
